MetroAir Virtual partners with ZLA Pilot Certification Program

MetroAir Virtual has opted to partner with the ZLA Pilot Certification Program to augment its existing training program.

MetroAir pilots will utilize the existing program, going through the same ratings as more than 100 other pilots have already undertaken. A MetroAir-specific roster has been added to the ZLA Pilot Cert site to track to progress of their pilots within the system.

We encourage other VATSIM Virtual Airlines to take part in the program. There are currently four VA partners, California Airlines, Virtual Continental, UPS, and now MetroAir Virtual. Interested parties should use the Feedback form on this site if they'd like to organize a similar arrangement.

Thanks to Lindle Romero, Director of Training at MetroAir for approaching us to initiate the partnership.

Said Romero this afternoon, "We're thrilled to be working with ZLA, especially now that they're spelling our name correctly."

ZLA Controller
