Wayne Conrad passes I-11
Congratulations to Wayne "Wrong Way" Conrad for completing the ZLA Pilot Cert program. Wayne recently returned from a bout of intense physical therapy to recover from the I-9. Evidently the effort of transitioning to jets took quite a toll, breaking his well-established rule of not flying airplanes capable of exceeding a brisk walk.
True to form, he first attempted the I-11 in a plane slow enough to be overtaken by tectonic drift...causing him to cancel his flight and instead resort to an aircraft that wouldn't be outpaced by the slow movement of the mountain ranges below.
