Comments enabled on ZLA Pilot Cert site
As promised, this feature has been added to the site. The spirit of this addition is to facilitate on-topic discussions for each of the Ratings.
If you have ANY questions about how to fly a rating, stick and rudder questions, questions about charts, questions about why the rating calls for certain procedures, do not hesitate to ask. If YOU have a question, chances are, so do many other people.
Comments are also enabled for the reference material, press releases, and graduation announcements.
There are four levels of access:
- Level 1 (all): can view all comments
- Level 2 (logged in): can view all comments and post new comments
- Level 3 (pilot cert member): can view all comments, post new comments, and able to easily email authors of other comments to permit offline discussions, or to pursue other tangents
- Level 4 (moderator): as above. Can also remove/edit posts, receives email notification of new postings.
The registration process is 100% automated, allowing anyone to become Level 2. A manual step performed by the Site Administrator upgrades users from Level 2 to Level 3 (usually within 48 hours of registration).
