Flying the LAX mini-route

Northwestbound: During normal tower operating ours, Hawthorne Tower will coordinate transitions through the Mini Route. After normal tower operating hours (or on VATSIM, if HHR_TWR is not staffed), contact LAX Tower on 120.95. Proceed to Hawthorne & 405 Freeway (VPLSR) at 2500 feet.

Southeastbound: During normal tower operating hours, Santa Monica Tower will coordinate transitions through the Mini Route. After normal tower operating hours (or on VATSIM, if SMO_TWR is not online), contact LAX Tower on 120.95. Proceed to Loyola College (LMU) at 2500 feet.

Note: Remain clear of Bravo airspace util clearance is received. Fixed-wing, non-turbojet aircraft only. LAX must be in a west traffic or over-ocean (generally midnight to 0630 local) configuration and reporting a ceilig of at least 3000 feet and visibility of at least three miles. Hawthorne and Santa Monica Airports must be VFR.
